INFORMATION (Press Release)
On the 15th of December, Anna Stereopoulou releases -in digital format- the music she composed for the feature film, titled «The Tree And The Swing» (Alternate title: A Place Called Home / ‘To Dentro Kai I Kounia’), directed by Maria Douza. The film was released in 2013 (World Premiere: 37th Montreal World Film Festival 2013) and has won many international awards, including Best Music Score Award (9th Cyprus International Film Festival 2014).
The album consists of 35 tracks, of which six (6) Bonus Tracks (included in the download of the album) are music sections that were rejected during the creative development of the soundtrack.
57 minutes of Romantic, Psycho-Acoustic, Modern Classical, Electro-Acoustic music, composed and performed by Anna Stereopoulou, who got inspired by the scenario and the characters, as well as by her presence during the shooting of the film.
The release is happening on the occasion of the recent new collaboration between Anna Stereopoulou and Maria Douza, on the latter’s new feature film, titled «Listen» (previously, «Winter With Valmira», Steficon production, 2021-2022) and Anna’s specialisation and various work with different film directors, between 2020-2021, in the Film Scoring field.
