INFORMATION (Press Release)
On Friday, 7th of October 2022, Anna Stereopoulou released the music she composed for the documentary “Crossing The Mountains” (Of Central Rhodope Range), directed by Pavlos Tsiantos (2021). The soundtrack is a co-production with Chrysallida (chrysallida 05 | http://chrysallida.gr/) and is available on Anna’s official BandCamp channel (https://annastereo.bandcamp.com/), and in physical format, online and at the Folk and History Museum of Xanthi (from November 2022 onwards).
Anna was inspired to create the music by the footage of the 4th Xanthi Mountain Crossing 2020 (annually organized by “Alternative Actions: Nestos Rodopi Thrace“), as well as by the story “7 Peaks of Livaditis” by Michalis Elafros. The result is a 22-minute fusion within 10 tracks of driving Electronica, as well as Atmospheric and (local) Traditional /World Music, led by the Piano and the Pulse of Nature.
