Educational and Art, Group Session Series [Lectures /Seminars / Workshops / Soundwalks /Listenings /Sound Treatment] designed and presented by composer, Anna Stereopoulou, and inspired by her artistic /scientific research on the Human Brain, the Human Psychology and Body Balance, as well as by other Sciences & Art and her work in the field of Film Scoring.

The above Session Series started in 2011 and were first hosted in the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation (Athens, Greece). Other presentations of the project and the research, have taken place at the following occasions:

Listening -Group- Sessions Series of anything we can perceive as Music or/and Vibration, i.e. Feeling.
The session series consists of Listening of music and sounds (with or without accompanying Image), Discussion about the set up and specification, as well as Interaction, i.e. the Creative Role of the participants in relation to the equipment set up within the space, and the Sound Mixing. The Series aim to the Perception and Understanding of our own Senses / Feelings, through different -each time- techniques and concepts.

Sound Installation / Sound Treatment
« rho ~ ῥῶ »

The sound / audio-visual installation « rho ~ ῥῶ » is based on Anna Stereopoulou’s research on the Human Brain and the Structure and Function of the Human Ear, in relation to theories of Psychoanalysis and various types of waves (sound, light, brain waves).
The specific Installation was commissioned by and premiered at the ‘ohrenhoch, der Geräuschladen‘ (ohrenhoch, the Noise Shop) Sound Gallery, in Berlin (May 8 & 15, 2016), and was available as a Signature Sound Treatment « rho ~ ῥῶ » at: YOU Hair & Beauty Care Salon (Amaroussion, Athens) and GLORIOUS PELEYS Luxury Castle Hotel (Vyzitsa, Pelion mountain), in Greece (2016-2020).

Also, the concept projects of Anna Stereopoulou’s, titled, «oneirograph», «electron», « c i r c e :the black cut: », and other compositions and sound installations, are also inspired by the Sleep Therapies taking place in the Ancient Times (Ancient Asclepeions) and modern sleep centres, the Structure and Function of the Human Ear & the Balance of Body.

Τεχνικές Συναισθήματος
η μουσική στην «εικόνα» | ο ήχος ~ το φως ~ το χρώμα

Κύκλοι εκπαιδευτικών και καλλιτεχνικών, Ομαδικών Συνεδριών [Διαλέξεις / Σεμινάρια / Εργαστήρια / Ηχοπερίπετοι / Ηχοθεραπεία] σε σχεδιασμό και παρουσίαση της συνθέτιδος Άννας Στερεοπούλου, και εμπνευσμένα από την καλλιτεχνική /επιστημονική της έρευνα πάνω στον Ανθρώπινο Εγκέφαλο, την Ψυχολογία και την Ισορροπία του Σώματος, καθώς και άλλες Επιστήμες & Τέχνες, αλλά και από την ενασχόλησή της με την Μουσική Κινηματογράφου.

Οι κύκλοι των εν λόγω συνεδριών ξεκίνησαν το 2011, και φιλοξενήθηκαν για πρώτη φορά στο Ίδρυμα Μ. Κακογιάννης. Άλλες παρουσιάσεις των εν λόγωσεμιναρίων και της έρευνας πραγματοποιήθηκαν στους ακόλουθους χώρους:

Σειρά Ομαδικών Ακροάσεων [Listening Sessions Series] του ο,τιδήποτε μπορούμε να αντιληφθούμε ως Μουσική ή/και Δόνηση, ήτοι Συναίσθημα.
Η εν λόγω σειρά συναντήσεων αποτελείται από Ακρόαση μουσικής και ήχων (με ή χωρίς Εικόνα), Συζήτηση πάνω στο στήσιμο και τα χαρακτηριστικά τους, καθώς επίσης, και Διάδραση, δηλαδή τον Ενεργό Ρόλο των συμμετεχόντων ως προς το στήσιμο του εξοπλισμού στον χώρο, αλλά και την Μίξη του Ήχου. Στόχος της συγκεκριμένης σειράς, FEELMUSIC είναι η Αντίληψη και Κατανόηση των ίδιων μας των Αισθήσεων, μέσα από διαφορετικές -κάθε φορά- τεχνικές και θεματικές.

Ηχητική Εγκατάσταση / Ηχοθεραπεία
« rho ~ ῥῶ »

Η ηχητική /οπτικο-ακουστική εγκατάσταση « rho ~ ῥῶ » βασίζεται στην έρευνα της Άννας Στερεοπούλου, πάνω στον Ανθρώπινο Εγκέφαλο και την Δομή και Λειτουργία του ανθρώπινου Αυτιού, σε σχέση με θεωρίες της Ψυχανάλυσης και διάφορους τύπους κυμάτων (ήχος, φως, εγκεφαλικά κύματα).
Ο σχεδιασμός και το στήσιμο της εγκατάστασης / ηχοθεραπείας «rho ~ ῥῶ» θα ολοκληρωθεί κατά την επίσκεψη της καλλιτέχνιδος στον -κάθε φορά- προσφερόμενο χώρο, σε συνεργασία με τους διοργανωτές / συμμετέχοντες (φεστιβάλ), ή τους μαθητές και καθηγητές (εκπαίδευση).

Η συγκεκριμένη Εγκατάσταση παρουσιάστηκε για πρώτη φορά στην Sound Gallery ‘ohrenhoch, der Geräuschladen‘ (ohrenhoch, the Noise Shop) του Βερολίνου (8 & 15 Μαΐου 2016), ενώ επίσης, προσφερόταν ως Ηχοθεραπεία / Signature Sound Treatment στο YOU Hair & Beauty Care Salon (Μαρούσι, Αθήνα) και στο GLORIOUS PELEYS Luxury Castle Hotel (Βυζίτσα, Πήλιο) / (2016-2020).

Επίσης, τα θεματικά έργα της Άννας Στερεοπούλου, με τίτλο, «ονειρογράφος», «electron» [ήλεκτρον], « c i r c e :the black cut: », αλλά και μεμονωμένες μουσικές συνθέσεις και άλλες ηχητικές εγκαταστάσεις, εμπνέονται, μεταξύ άλλων, από τις Υπνοθεραπείες στον αρχαίο (ελληνικό) κόσμο (Εγκοιμήσεις σε αρχαία Ασκληπιεία) και τα σύγχρονα κέντρα μελέτης ύπνου, την Δομή και Λειτουργία του Ανθρώπινου Αυτιού & την Ισορροπία του Σώματος.
